Microforms Cluster

 

General Information

Welcome to the Microforms Cluster General Information!

Main Library Microforms Cluster contains the majority of the microforms reading, scanning and printing equipment at LTS. It is located on Goldfarb 1, past InfoCommons. Additional equipment is located in Creative Arts section of Farber 3 (a Canon 500 and a Minolta 700), and in Judaica reading room on Goldfarb Mezzanine (Canon 90).

Instructions on how to use each piece of equipment can be found under respective tabs of this Libguide, and are also linked with the list below.

Main Library InfoCommons Microforms Cluster Equipment and Functionality

Canon 300II Microform Reader/ Scanner. Allows microfilm and microfiche images to be:

  • viewed
  • scanned
  • saved on USB drive
  • e-mailed as an attachment.

Canon 500 Microform Readers (two) with attached Canon Fileprint 300 Printer (two). Allows microfilm and microfiche images to be:

  • viewed
  • printed

ScreenScan Opaque Microcard Reader. Allows opaque microcards to be:

  • viewed
  • printed

 

Creative Arts Microforms Cluster Equipment and Functionality

Canon 500 Microform Reader with attached Canon Fileprint 300 Printer (two). Allows microfilm and microfiche images to be:

  • viewed
  • printed

Minolta 7000 Microform Reader with an attached Printer. Allows microfilm and microfiche images to be

  • viewed
  • printed
