Welcome to the Microforms Cluster General Information!

Main Library Microforms Cluster contains the majority of Microforms reading, scanning and printing equipment at LTS. It is located on Goldfarb 1, past InfoCommons. Additional equipment is located in Creative Arts section of Farber 3 (Cannon 500), and in Judaica reading room on Goldfarb Mezzanine (Cannon 90).

List of Cluster equipment and functionality

Minolta 7000 Microform Reader/ Scanner with an attached Printer. Allows microfilm and microfiche images to be

• viewed
• printed
• scanned
• saved on USB or zip drive
• e-mailed the scanned microfilm or microfiche image to an account.

Cannon 500 Microform Readers (two) with attached Cannon Fileprint 300 Printer (two). Allows microfilm and microfiche images to be

• viewed
• printed

Opaque Viewer, model 7. Allows reading opaque microcards only. No printing is available on this machine.

Clearview 300 image enhancer. Allows for books, manuscripts, microcards to be

• viewed
• magnified
• enhanced
