Books
Use LOUIS to find books and other materials in the Brandeis Libraries.
- use advanced search for a more effective search using cominations of keywords
- use synonyms to increase your chance of finding all the best material
- follow subject links to find more on your precise topic
- don't be too specific! general books can have a chapter on your topic
example: south africa* (* gives you all words beginning with those letters)

Use WorldCat to find books and other materials at other libraries with links to libraries that own the materials. Use Interlibrary Loan to request them.
