International Treaties

International treaty law is comprised of obligations that states expressly and voluntarily accept between themselves by entering into agreements. Whatever states agree to, that is law as far as their relations are concerned. Treaties may contain a provision that disputes will be resolved in an international court or tribunal.

The following websites have compiled information on and list major international treaties:

United Nations Treaty Collection

WorldLII: Treaties and International Agreements

Washburn University School of Law: Treaties and Other International Agreements
