Problems accessing Get It links
When I click on the
button, the page hangs or times out and doesn't load.
If you are on-campus using a wireless connection, please check and make sure that you are connected to the secure wireless network (brandeis_unet_secure). See this page for instructions on how to connect to secure wireless:
http://lts.brandeis.edu/techhelp/connecting/on-campus/wireless/index.html
The regular (unsecure) wireless network and the guest wireless network have certain restrictions and certain ports are blocked due to security issues. At this time, access to Get It links and the e-journals page is restricted on the unsecure and guest wireless networks. Brandeis users should connect to secure wireless in order to have unrestricted access to our resources.
Wired connections will not have any problems accessing Get It links and the e-journals page.

Get It button & Firefox 2.0
There seems to be an occasional problem with viewing the GetIt button in Firefox 2.0. It can usually be solved by following these instructions:
1. In Firefox, go to Tools->Options, under Content, uncheck the box
"Load Images Automatically", click OK. Reload the page.
2. Go back to Tools->Options, Content and CHECK the box
"Load Images
Automatically", click OK. Reload the page. You should now see the GetIt
button.
SFX error message
When I clicked on the
button and got an error message that looked like this:

It said: “For
help, please send mail to the webmaster (sfxlcl3@sfxdev), giving this
error message and the time and date of the error.”
I clicked on the email
address but it doesn’t go anywhere.
There is an error in our system for this resource. Please send an email to e-resources@brandeis.edu with the description of the problem and include a copy of the error message as well as the e-journal/database you were using when you got the error message.
