Requests for Spring courses should be submitted by November 15.

Requests for Summer courses should be submitted by April 15.

Requests for Fall courses should be submitted by August 1.

We will not be able to guarantee the processing time of any requests we receive after these dates.

To make a request, use the "LATTE Videos" block in your LATTE course. Detailed instructions are available in PDF format here.

• Log in to LATTE and choose the course you would like to have a video added to.
  
• Add the "LATTE Videos" block to your course page.
• Click the "Add a Video" link in the LATTE Videos block.
• Complete the form that opens and click submit.
• You will receive an email confirming that your request has been received.
• Repeat for each addition video request.
• You’ll receive another e-mail when your video is ready, and you’ll see it in the LATTE Videos block on your course page.
• After you start using the LATTE Videos block to request your videos, the "Request History" link in the LATTE Videos block will allow you to see a complete list of videos you’ve requested for all of your courses.

Only films in Brandeis University's library collection can be placed online. DVD is the preferred format for converting to online video and the library will order this format for encoding LATTE videos, if available.

Instructors must make requests each semester they want the film to be available online, even if the video was used in past semesters and in the same course.

Note: we recommend this service only for videos that are integral to your course. Our statistics show that videos not required on your syllabus get very little usage.

Instructors may present films from the Brandeis library film collection online via LATTE, Brandeis University's online learning environment.

LATTE Videos are restricted to the students enrolled in the course, and can only be viewed from the Brandeis campus. No public showings are permitted. The films are accessible online to the students in the course and only for the duration of the course.
