Brandeis Myths Explained

Is the Gerstenzang science library named after the inventor of the Q-Tip? Was it built to look like one?

Yes, the science library is named after Leo Gerstenzang, who before his involevement with Brandeis invented the Q-tip. It is not nor has it ever been shaped like one, however. You can find out more by visiting Archives & Special Collections. Be sure to call first! 781-736-4686.
