The Robert D. Farber University Archives & Special Collections Department at Brandeis holds a rich collection of rare books and manuscripts on many subjects (see an online guide to Special Collections here). Among these are several collections related to Louis Dembitz Brandeis:

• The Louis Dembitz Brandeis collection contains more than a hundred linear feet of correspondence, photographs, publications, newsclippings, and more. This collection is housed in the Special Collections Department.

• There is a microfilm copy of Louis S. Brandeis and Alice Grady: Correspondence and diaries, 1905-1954, which consists of correspondence and diaries documenting the origins and development of the savings bank life insurance movement and the administration of the state-supported program.

• There is also Louis Brandeis correspondence within the Autograph Collection in the Special Collections Department.

• There is a microfilm copy of the public papers of Louis Dembitz Brandeis in the Jacob and Bertha Goldfarb Library of Brandeis University, as well as a useful guide to the microfilm. (This collection is not synonymous with the Louis Dembitz Brandeis manuscript collection held at Brandeis; it contains material from other institutions, and does not contain the personal correspondence.)

• Brandeis also holds a microfilm copy of material held at the Harvard Law School Library.

• Brandeis also holds microfilm of The papers of Louis Dembitz Brandeis at the University of Louisville.
